Deplasto was founded out of concern for the biological effects from microplastics and a frustration with the lack of data-backed solutions. Unless thousands of publications are built on fabricated data, it’s abundantly clear that microplastics induce inflammation, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial dysfunction. Moreover, while everyone knows about microplastics, very few are looking at solutions. 

While it’s impossible to avoid microplastics entirely, Deplasto believes that health-conscious individuals can implement simple, long-term solutions to support wellness for themselves and their families. Our goal is to empower those individuals to do so, and we’ll continue to create products and solutions built on those principles. Moreover, we believe that collaboration is essential for implementing long-term change, and are happy to partner with organizations and individuals who share our principles.
